That is really good, kristine! Nice job! I have no idea how you did that so well (changing the color of the torso and the tire rims), but it came out very nice! Great job!

Yeah, changing the skin color of a person is hard, especially black to white. I've tried

ya, you really have to use a variety of techniques... just one doesn't cut it. i mainly used the color curves, brightness/contrast, and hue/sat..... and then cleaned it up a bit with the dodge/burn tools
