My parents do not, and i repeat NOT, like Al at all. curses  given that fact, I cannot listen to Al around them

:great: but a few weeks ago, my dad listened to "Hardware Store" and he laughed. Ha! :P

My mother lets me play Al, but she doesn't particularly like him, she does laugh at the odd line though

My mom kind of likes Al. She laughs if I play music in the car. My brothers kind of like him, but not as much anymore. My youngest brother really likes Al, but I think it's only because I do.

My brother likes Al, at least a little bit. He likes to go around singing "Oh my baby's in love with a sweaty sweater..." ;)

My brothers like Al. They just don't listen to him a lot. They used to more when they were younger. My oldest brother will randomly start singing a song lyric.

I am the only one in my family who is an Al fan. In 5th grade I tried having people call me "Krazed Kris" for a hot minute but alas it never paned out. My mother tolierated him while I was yonger and sometimes my dad would let me play his music while he gave me rides in the morning to go to school.

My mom is the reason I even know anything about Weird Al. She got me my first Weird Al CD when I was 12, Running With Scissors (also the first cd I ever had). She gave my dad the idea to buy me and him tickets to see Al at the MN state fair, (I think that was around the time of Running With Scissors, too), which got my dad into Weird Al, so it was HIS idea to take me and my best friend to see Al around the time of Poodle Hat.
They also paid for my tix for me and two friends for the most recent tour.
My Aunt Kathy is also a fan, or at least used to be. She used to sing "another one rides the bus" when she'd be babysitting me, I guess. :D

I have a parent to blame my Al obsession on, too. My dad told me to turn it to VH1 and AL-TV had just started and I loved it. I taped one of the reruns and got SOL for Christmas. A few months later I (foolishly) purchased The Food Album. After that, I bought every studio album and official DVD release. I also payed $26 to get a VHS of The Compleat Al and to have it converted to DVD. I even went as far as to start concert trading, but I won't go any further with that.
