dumb dumb dumb question... or maybe not so dumb: Fall is approaching and I'll need to wear something warmer than my walking sandals... I'm thinking of getting Vans as they look so comfortable... are they? Like, not just cool, fun and stylish?

I have weird feet: narrow at the heel, wider across the toes and my middle toes are way longer than they should be - I loathe closed toed shoes!! but... if Vans are cumfy I'd go out of my way to check them out. (there's some stores in my city that carry them).

It's not a dumb question! My feet are also wider across the toes and narrow at the heel, and I feel great inside my slip-on shoes. They're very comfy!

Very good to know, thanks. I've tried on shoes that are kinda in the style of Vans but... ouch. Not nice on the toes or back of the heel at all

I'll check some out... Maybe I'll get a "calm" pair and a "crazy" pair.

and if I can only afford one pair... I'll get a "crazy" pair
