I have decided to follow in Louise's footsteps, and have posted my clip from "the big finish" at Meadowbrook on my myspace page. Such an incredible moment that I'll never forget. I couldn't hate on something like that, not in a million years.

IIRC, "You Make Me" is considered by Al to be his only "real" (non-twisted) love song. Lots of his songs could be classified as ballads: Biggest Ball of Twine, Good Old Days, You Don't Love Me Any More, Good Enough for Now...algonacchick @ August 05, 2008 06:37 pm wrote:

I just have to say, this song is like... timeless... no matter how many times I hear it it still makes me laugh...
Like today I was for my walk, and this song came on my iPod... I only half listened (once you've heard a song enough times, you can pretty much tune it out partially you know?) So here I was walking along, and suddenly "I hope I'm not being forward, but do you mind if I chew on your butt?" Jumps out at me and catches me off guard... the next thing I know I'm standing in the middle of the sidewalk busting out laughing... people must have thought I was VERY strange
