You know I think I would of liked the song more if I were a fan of James Blunt.
I found that Al's version made the song enjoyable. I got so tired of the original, fast.

As did I. I think it's the insufferable amount of airplay it got when it first came out....the song was ruined. Overkill, anyone?
Almost like the theme from Friends...I actually liked that song until the radio stations played it over and over and over and over....

MAYBE thats the point A.R. was TRYING to make... "ITs been so overplayed already we don't need Al too..." but they did totally string Al along and while I can almost see what there saying (almost), if I where them, I would lay off the radio and just say OK to Al... some people... >:S

No, Atlantic Records told Al that it was too early in James Blunts career for that song to be the subject of a parody. Pretty lame excuse. Al figured since it was just a bunch of suits saying no, and not James Blunt, why not offer it as a free download. Brilliant.

I agree, although I don't think I ever liked the original. It is a very strange, catchy song, like having water in your ear.

We're just stuck in a loop of June of 2006.
