In English class we had to do a song presentation and my friend and I chose "Don't Download This Song" and opened the presentation with the question: "How many of you have downloaded songs before?".. I think we did it pretty well, I sure enjoyed it!

By the way, I'm trying to convince my Biology teacher to allow me to play "Pancreas" to the class!

(with lyrics and translation to Hebrew done by me XD)

Yeah, we did that presentation together!
Picking DDTD was mostly because we needed a song with a moral, and saying "downloading is wrong, give money to the artists" seemed right to us since WeirdElla actually is all-against downloading (even though the giving money part was pretty awkward - "how else can I afford another solid gold Hum-vee"? come on).
Hopefully we've created a few more Al fans with that presentation (that totally rocked, if I can say so myself).

Is there an Israeli Weird Al?

Nothing even close. The whole concept of humorous songs barely exists in Israel, and I can't say myself that I heard of a parodist who does songs over here.

לא נראה לי שמשהו מתוך ארץ נהדרת יכול לעשות דברים כמו ווירד אל. נו אופנס

See the thing is, I asked this question in English so these answers aren't helping.
