Well, I guess I can commend Al for maintaining his artistic integrity by not wanting to pigeonhole himself as simply being a nostalgia act. I guess he takes a lot of pride in the fact that he's one of the few artists to stay relavent for longer than a decade and whose new material still stands up to, and sells as well as, his old material did. Good for him.

Steve Perry hasn't played with Journey is a long time. I saw them last summer and while they were very good, Foreigner opened up for them and was even better.

So...if any of you spoke to Al or any of the band members at some of his most recent shows, have they said anything about adding more dates?

From what I have heard, they plan on doing more dates this year.
