So...is it common to lose all control of the English language about the point those pics were taken?

Congrats, Dingo! Hope to hear more about your detailed thoughts on the whole thing once you've had some time to take it all in.

Did you go all quiet or babble like a rabid monkey Dingo... ?

Dingo, these pictures make me very happy for several reasons, but here are my top 2:

1. I am so happy that you were finally able to go to a Weird Al concert AND you got to meet Al and Bermuda!
2. Bermuda is wearing the "Nashua, NH" t-shirt that I gave him 3 years ago! :D

Well, looks like fun and frolic was had by all. Thrilled for Dingo, but wished it were me :) I would probably babble like a rabid monkey. I did a little of that the last time I met a celeb..

The venue almost always says that. Adrian's going to smack me next time he sees me, but so far, they've only opened my bag to look for cameras in Boston, and no one has said boo to taking pictures. I had an usher a few seats away at this one and nada. I got stopped in Boston for the camera, but let in (with an apology!) once security saw the lens did not detach.

Moral: Always, always bring the camera. Then you have the option to not use it.

I am hoping to have some pictures from the last 5 nights up later today, but still need to get home first!

And Dingo did an admirable job at least LOOKING calm in front of Al! :great:

Congrats, Dingo! And yes, it's perfectly normal to forget how to speak English when meeting Al. I was frankly amazed I could say anything at all the first time I met him.

Awesome pics, Dingo! Congrats! :ttr:

Honestly, I wish I had lost more of my ability to speak the first time I met him... I lost just enough to still be able to say really stupid things.

Luckilly, the really stupid things came out after the Al pic....like my almost forgetting Bermuda's name when asking for a pic and later out by the busses my Porky Pigging of the word "Simulation" (When I should've been using the word facsimile) :P

It was an amazing night...would love to do it again sometime

I got work today (Booooo!!!!!!!), but I'll gather my thoughts when I can and post the pics I got. Most of them are merely ok - good because

1. I am NOT a professional picture-takerer, nor do I claim to be anything close
2. I do not take many pictures overall...not something I've really felt like doing
3. I've only had this camera for a month, and never bothered to learn how to use it
4. I didn't want to be "that guy" at the concert that didn't look like he knew what he was doing (Even though I clearly was)

Also, sadly you won't get to see the SEVERAL shots I accidentally got of my feet before and during the show as I kept losing track of what was the power button and what was the shoot button  (This means no documented evidence of me wearing pants, of course ;) )
