Good point. I didn't know that Topic existed when I posted it.
The biggest forum about Weird Al Yankovic

Unfortunately, in this country ANYTHING can be called "political" if enough people oppose it. Prop 8 has politicized love, creationists have politicized evolution, PETA has politicized cheeseburgers, and the Birthers movement has actually managed to politicize whether or not a document which actually exists ACTUALLY EXISTS. Why should it be so "political" to simply disagree with the disagreeable? He said something to the effect of: Of course! I didn't even think of it as a political thing at all, just... the right thing.
Some people like to ATTACK comedians for making cheap jokes. But in this economy, we can't always afford expensive ones.I can't believe people follow a COMEDY musician and can't tell when Al is making a joke. It looked to me to be something just to get a cheap laugh, nothing more.
They thought he believed laborers should own the means of production?TMBJon wrote:I spoke to Al last night and brought up the NOH8 photos. Please do not quote me on that, but that was the essence of his own personal thoughts on the matter. He then brought up his subsequent tweet about Arizona and immigration papers. He was like I don't know if you saw the @replies to that but people were calling me a socialist!
Why even point out the fact that it was off-topic? The very concept of a Rick Roll is the fact that when you click the link, it's not what you were expecting to see!scottidog wrote:That? Off topic yet awesome. Gotta love the well executed Rick Roll.
