I'm really curious to hear any more details, including if he met his fans after or just kept to the VIPs. Did anyone go and ask why he didn't stay after last night's show?

Just because he didn't do a public meet and greet doesn't mean he didn't "stay". There is almost always time afterwards spent with those with aftershow passes. And, those people with passes aren't always "VIP", either. Heck, Al's family in San Diego weren't even listed as VIP.

Yeah, I know. I said stay out of habit because all last night we were told "He left in a van," "He's not here guys, you can leave," and other such phrases that we didn't believe. Maybe he wanted to chill, was tired, didn't feel well, went to his room at the adjoining Radisson. Word was that the tour buses weren't leaving til morning. But supposedly he had left already on a van, no one could say to where or anything lol.
And by VIP i just meant passes and VIP in general. At Star Plaza I saw some people had regular ol' backstage passes and some people had these VIP packages. I think it's probably something the theater does on its own anyway.

Yeah, I don't know what was up in Merrillville either, it seemed weird. Hadn't seen that since Touring With Poodles when he wasn't doing them. Anyway, the Toledo Zoo was also passes only. I really should've asked Jim now, lol...ah well, it was still a good show.
As mentioned the guy in Albuquerque was one armed, as well as one nostriled. Other details: TITDT music almost didn't come on in the medley, and I could see Al was getting ready to say "Radio, Radio", but unfortunately the music came on at the last second...He had the stormtroopers during Saga Begins, but they were kind of out of line, still performed good, though...There were also minor flubs everywhere in Saga, and a couple words in a few other songs, but that's fine, that's what makes the concerts special....I saw the Smells Like Nirvana cheerleaders earlier in the day at the zoo, they were practicing over the Amazing Amphibians exhibit, got a picture of them, so I can remember the Amazing Amphibians SLN cheerleaders, lol....Al had to cut I'll Sue Ya out of the show due to a 10:30 curfew, and not being able to start his show until 8:15, I guess that's a set time for his show, even if it's listed earlier on the ticket...and Harvey did get a pass!!!
I also have to say that Toledo Zoo was one of the best zoos I have been too, it was really cool watching the polar bears, they were really active yesterday...and it was also cool to see the cheetah right next to the amphitheatre that Al played in, I'm sure he enjoyed the show...
Anyway, sorry I didn't check in sooner...I was tired after last night's show, so just decided to go back to the hotel and crash, after looking and seeing that the busses were unaccessible...but maybe this is a few details to hold one over until Richmond on the 8th....I'll be sure to check in with my review of that, too....

I should certainly hope that Al's BUSSES are unaccessible. He should save his kisses for his wife, not his fans!
Oh...you meant the large vehicles in which they ride from city to city? Those are BUSES...
EDIT: Okay, I looked it up and found out that both BUSES and BUSSES are acceptable for the plural form of bus.
My humblest apologies, Alinite27!

Thanks for the review, Jeremy. Glad you had a good time, both at the zoo and at the show.
