Security people lie about whether Al will be doing a m&g a lot.
Unless it's at a county fair or huge festival. If they say he's not doing a m&g there, they're probably telling the truth.

louie, I'm glad you had a good time! However I must correct a heinous injustice...
I have never, but never, had a bad burger at In-N-Out. They have a great, simple menu, food that is fresh and tasty, and staff who are paid more than other fast food workers (so they're usually quite happy and not Eugene-level incompetent) and who also have a near-universal ability to speak very clear English (no small feat in Vegas and SoCal). Here are some things you may not have noticed:
1. No freezers, because their stuff comes in fresh every single day.
2. No microwaves, so if you're looking for that limp, reheated taste go elsewhere.
3. The potato cutter. They need this because they make the fries right there, right when you order them. This does make for fries that are not completely impregnated with oil. I will admit that this makes them more starchy once they get cold.
4. The (not-so )secret menu. So sorry you didn't find out about this before you went! Sure, the regular stuff is up there on the menu board, but they will make it any way you want it. And they'll get it right, which is more than I can say for pretty much every other fast food joint. These days I'm favoring a double-double (or rarely even a 3x3) Animal Style, and fries well done. And if I'm feeling particularly gluttonous, an XL Neapolitan shake. Yum.
Back to the venue:
The Henderson Pavilion is owned by the City of Henderson so the announcer guy was just an announcer guy.
Man I really wish it was an indoor venue! Or at least that Al would come do shows in the winter, hehe.
After the show, my family and I ventured up front for Yakobucks but they were all gone by then, so I couldn't say how far from the stage they got. A woman kindly gave us an extra she had so we do have one to cherish from the show.
The M&G, like last time, was rather informal and long after the show was over. People just kind of hung around near the buses and eventually some folks came out, and they organized the people who stuck it out into a line.
Don't trust the security people immediately after the show to know what they're talking about - just find the group of fans waiting around near the side or back, and wait with them. Either Al will have time and see some people, or he won't and they will eventually shoo everyone away.
...In & Out Burger. I've never been to one before. And if you have never been to one, let me just say THEY'VE GOT A GENERIC MENU, GENERIC FOOD, AND PEOPLE WHO GENERICALY HATE THEIR OWN JOBS...FOR THE LOVE OF AL, GO EAT SOMEPLACE ELSE!

I don't know, I guess I was expecting a little more from the restaurant.
It was okay. I guess maybe one day I may go there again.
But by golly did they HAVE to advertise everywhere the business had been opened since 1948? What difference does it make!
Deal, from now on at the Al concert I attend, I'll wait by the buses!
