Yeah, ok, he doesn't stay still... but with a fast lens and an eye for composition and timing... a good photographer should manage to get something better than that.

Why would they restrict her to one song? Seems kind of strange. A photo pass just means you don't have to be sitting in a seat. Plus, if she only had one song to shoot in, that means she could have had the camera in burst mode... even photographer with poor timing can manage to get something out of a burst of photos.

Yeah, I don't really even try due to that. You also get to enjoy the concerts more if you don't worry about taking pictures. I thought the picture was OK, and as YMM said, for 'press' it's usually just the polka that they get. Congrats on your 27th post!

Oh, I dunno...I get a charge out of taking photos on mulitple show runs. I usually don't do the first one I go to--I do want to see it...but after that, I really get a kick out of taking pix.

On that note:

Wilkes-Barre PA! Fresh up!

These are OK. I was second row, nearly in the speaker stack to the extreme left of the stage. And there was this strobe light that nearly blinded me the entire night!

Wow, those are great pictures, Jackie! Considering your position way over on the side, I wasn't expecting anything near those. Glad that you got a couple pictures of the 'eye point' thing. Really nice pics.
