Awesome show. I know I start every review that way, but its always true. I got there around 615 and as I was walking towards the theatre I saw an awesome sight. Shiny white helmets. Yes, we have Stormtroopers! It was totally awesome. There was a bunch of them, along with Boba Fett, a Tie pilot and this here Anakin guy. Twas awesome. I then met up with Nancy, Dave and Jackie and chatted with them for a bit. I went inside and met WAYFan who said he thought I was Dave at first, dont worry, there is more to this part of the story. I helped with the petition for a while. And a note for any future petitioners, if you add "It's free" to the end of your pitch people become a lot more receptive. So about twenty after seven I made my way down to my seat and rested my weary feet on the stage, yeah, it was like 3 feet away. Most of my pics involve Al's nostrils. Then someone came over and asked if I was Dave, but Dave piped up and said he was. After they talked for a minute she left and I said, "Thats the second time tonight someone thought I was you!" So Jackie said that if I had a sharpie I could draw some tattoos on my ankles. So I did.

So we all laughed way to long about that, but hey, its all cheese anyway. So the show started and it was a regular show. During Yoda Al told Nancy "Now just you!" And even though it was dark I could see how red she was. And surprisingly the theatre was quiet, nobody else sang. Nancy just said "I cant" but the mic didnt pick it up, which was a shame. I snapped over 400 pics, we shall see what came out. Then during Albuquerque when Al was singing about how his mom leaned down right next to him, just like this he got right up in my face, and never one to miss a photo op, I started snapping pics like a madman, and he said, "She leaned down next to me, just like this, and took my picture" clickity click
Well I about died. THen later in the song they started all over again and he was getting to this part again and was making his way towards me again so I got my camera ready, but at the last second he "remembered" what he was talking about. I got about 50 pics during this song alone. After the show Dave gave me the cap from the confetti cannon. I do believe I will have Al sign it next time I see him. Then we wandered out to the buses. We all looked at our pics and talked about how Al really needs to stop scheduling shows on the same day that Dave is going to be at a particular venue. So that led to the creation of a Polls and Games idea. Then they told us to move to the buses. They actually put us next to the bus earlier than normal this time. I waited around the front while everyone else went to the back because I was determined to meet Bermuda, which I finally did.
We talked for a few minutes about how they are discontinuing some of the shirts because they arent selling, then I let him go and went to join the rest of the group. Then just as we get to the front Bermuda came up again, so Dave told him to wait in line like the rest of us. Dave was up before me and boy does security hate him. The guy kept saying how "This guy gotta leave" While Dave was there Security kept telling me one item. I said I have one item, the pic and the envelope I'm carrying it in, but he still insisted on one item. Jackass. When I got to Al I showed him my ankles and he just started laughing. I had him sign the pic of me and him from '00 at the Grand (first meeting) I was gonna give him a signed copy of it too, but I forgot to bring it. Then I told him the story of the baby and her being amazed that I have met Al, and he just got a big smile on his face. He is such a nice fellow. After that Dave, Jackie, Nancy, Bermuda and I talked a bit. Then the band and Nancy left (not together) and it was just Dave, Jackie, Fred and I. We talked for a bit then went our seperate ways. I hope the band tours next summer, I dont want to have to wait another 3 years to see them or Dave and Jackie and the rest.

Awesome review as always! I love the ankles part!
I'm glad you got to meet Al again and have him sign that picture. I hope you do get to see him again this tour, and its so sweet that Al had a big smile on his face after you told him the baby story. Great pictures too, I can't wait to see the rest!

The show was GREAT fun!
The front row rocks!
It was awesome seeing Fred again!
I think I got some really excellent photos, but I don't think I'll have those up until tonight. I had to change my settings after CBNC since being that close, the lights were messing up my usual thing...however, I am pretty happy with what I see on the little screen, at least. I also filled a 1 gig card. Whoops.
I got the "nostrils" line in WBUL last night, and I got confetti in my hair that Al picked out...and then placed back
And I have to go take a shower....stupid job!

So those weren't real tattoos? LOL I thought you were just as crazy as Dave!
I just got up and haven't even looked at my pics yet, but I'm sure a few of them are keepers. Just a few comments -
Those were the most entertaining Storm Troopers ever! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Great dance moves.
I'm still really really sorry I choked during Yoda but trust me, my singing voice isn't something you want to hear over a microphone. How I managed to give birth to musically talented children is a great mystery.
Al admired my skeletal structure this time. Front row is too much fun.
Jon is a sweetheart!
Loved meeting Fred and WAYFan and seeing Dave, Jackie and Mike again.
Oh and the big news - with just three of us collecting signatures (Minnick27 and WAYfan were wonderful!) we gathered over 600 in just one night at a venue that holds about 1000 people. Not too shabby!!
