Yeah, and they will warn you, like they did with the 45 minute HOB show.

Another reason he might have to scale the show down, is if the stage is to small.

He cut out LAS many times on the RWS tour because of the stages size.

For anyone who has never been to this fair (ME!).....I got this advice from my sister-in-law:

"I was thinking about you today when I saw the weekly forecast. OMG - the fair is going to be hot. Take your sunscreen, misty mates and try to stay in the shade. There are a few areas up there that are somewhat shaded but the midway of course with the rides and games is in the sun! There is sort of a nice shady area toward the back of the grounds that is set up by the parks services that is all about outdoor camping etc. and has a nice shaded nature path. Look for the huge Smokey the Bear. Also, there is a huge antiques/junk sale under some tents at the back of the fairgrounds also."

Hope this helps anyother newbie fair-goers like me!

I saw you were going to the fair anyway. Have fun!

Ah, the memories. Me and Squirrelly Girl (and company) at some little fair in California (Paso Robles?), 105 degree heat, no shade, General Admission, just spending the day sitting at the gate from noon to 7pm, or whenever that was.

Does anyone know if there's an opening act at the Fair? Never been to a show there.

I've never had a problem with my digital, but it looks like a 35mm SLR. Basically, at Fraze we were told no "Professional" cameras.

I'm hoping they are of the same mindset there. Anyone???
