One night after a concert the whole band and I went bowling. Al, Bermuda, and I were one team, and Jim, Steve, and Ruben were on the other team. We won! :D And I bowled a 198, my highest game ever!

Bruce, is that really you? Long time no speak. We haven't talked since the, um... incident. How's the new gig as Shirley MacLaine working out anyway?

Exactly. Varna the Squirmese Cook, I don't know how Al was ever friends with him. It still gives me goosebumps thinking about it. :o

Al makes friends with some really strange people, as some of us can testify personally. :P

Harvey, did you give Bela any useful advice before she made her stage debut at OC this past summer? She seemed very nonchalant about it all.

Ruben isn't the best bowler in the world, let's just say that. I've never seen him bowl anything more than a 90 or so.

I'm a bad hamster! On April Fools Day, 1999, when Al woke up, I told him that Zomba had called. They misplaced the master tapes for the originals on Running with Scissors and he had to re-record them all. He started to panic and was about to call Zomba but he saw that I couldn't keep a straight face and realized that he got pranked!

Bela, Ruben, and I had to share a dressing room, so I did give her a few tips; the most important of which is something that I still sometimes have trouble with: the audience paid to see Al. You shouldn't upstage him. That means a few proposed stunts got vetoed over the years, but it is Al's show I guess.

Well, in the case of OC, the audience DIDN'T pay to see Al. So I guess he was good for nothing.

Actually, he was great for nothing, but that would spoil the joke. :P

Besides being a stunt hamster, what all can you do better than Al?

So Harvey... is it all about the Pentiums for you? Or are you a Mac guy?

Thanks for the answer, Harvey. So have you met Al's new wife and child yet? Are they adorable? (as in Nina?)

It will be very interesting to see how a hamster evaluates human adorability. FWIW, I figure they both must be adorable, since Al adores them.
