If you have a pop-up blocker, you have to turn it off to watch the clips. I hope that helps somebody.

Apparently Al worked with Jeff Fox worth on some of his video's, so technically one or more video's that Al was involved with was on the top 20 list.

I've only seen the last part of it, but I've set it to tap the next showing.

Of what I've seen Al's comments have been the only bright point to what is a pretty poorly produced show. It's edited so that the small portion of
each video that gets shown is talked over. It's pretty frustrating because
if you don't watch country music video's you might not be too familiar with
the videos that they are showing. I was left wondering what was so funny
about a few different video's.

I really didn't think it was bad. I liked it, actually.

Can I just say that, aside from Al, I was really annoyed by this special??

I admit that I don't like most country music in the first place, but where were the funny videos?? Who selected these?? How were most of these considered "funny?" I think Al summed it up...because there's crossdressers and goofy mugging? Almost every single one of the videos featured looked like they were from the "Cannonball Run" school of "comedy."

Man, are they telling me that in the whole history of funny country videos, only ONE Ray Stevens video would make the top twenty??

And what was with the narration?? Is that CMT's normal on-air announcer? I would probably shoot my set if I had to hear that all day.

I am so glad I taped the whole thing. I won't have to deal with it ever again.

When I go there and click on the links that have Al's interview, why does it just refresh the page. I don't see any Al interview, just the CMT 20 Funniest Video Page?

Exactly. I guess diminishing was the wrong word, but I think that too people that do the same job should have the same title. It wasna a big deal to me, just an observation.

And I agree with Greg that this was poorly produced, but I still liked it. Im a big country fan, so I was familiar with most of these videos. And I think they had to make it so it wasnt the top 20 Ray Stevens/Cledus T. Judd videos. Same thing with other funny video specials Ive seen, their funny videos arent always funny, but then they would have too many Al videos. They gotta be fair.

I like the show. I really didn't pay much attention to the way it was produced. Although I did find that one guy, who kept yelling out insults, irritating. But I watched it to hear what Al had to say. As for the videos I have never heard of them. So if Al hadn't been on this show I wouldn't have watched.

Al made it worth watching.

Ok sorry that made no sense.

I have a headache.

Weird Al on CMT....kinda weird. A country music station is the last place i'd expect to see Al. I should check it out next time it's on.

SuperOy, if you scroll up, I posted some more dates to catch the show. I thought it was alright. Al was the brighest spot in it.

Btw, anyone who wants to view those three clips on cmt.com, you have to disable a pop-up blocker if you have one. Also, if you have Norton virus protection, you have to disable that, too. *Thanks, Shelley for that tip*.
