Bad Hair Tour, 1999, Santa Clara:
1) Al's first line to the audience. "Thank you all for coming out to the soundtest of the Bad Hair Tour. GOODNIGHT EVERYONE!"
2) One More Minute. He was TWO FEET away from me!!!
3) The merchandise stand was three feet to the left of the stage, insuring that anyone in the front rows could grab a T-shirt and not miss a minute.
4) Being able to scream out "WEIRD AL RULES!" and have everyone nearby agree for a change.
5) Hearing the concert exclusives.

My favorite concert moment was probably when the cell phone gag went off before "A Complicated Song." I completely fell for that!

My favorite concert moments was probably when I had tickets to the second show at Navy Peir, but I go there early, so I stood outside and listened to the first show. I was singing and dancing, and people were watching me, and a policeman came over and let me in to the first show. Then, when I got to the front row, Al smiled and waved at me. I already wrote this on the Navy Peir topic, so, if you want more detail go there. (I have know idea how to make the link thingy.)

I've never been to an Al concert. My family went out to CA. this last summer and we had just missed him!

If we were there a week earlier i could have seen Him! Not fair

My favourite Weird Al Concert moment was at the Poodle Hat tour 2003 Adelaide when Al came into the audience and he looked straight at me and did the cool eye thing where he opens his eyes really wide and raises his eyebrow. U know what im talking about.
Also when he sang Smells like Nirvana at the gargling part he threw the cup into the croud. I got really wet. Im so proud lol
Oh yeah at the end of the concert when he had just finished his very last song and everyone started clapping and cheering i was one of the first to jump up on my chair and wave and he waved back at me. It was cool

hehe...my favorite al concert.....*drum roll*. it was the PHOENIX one..yeah here in az, POODLE HAT TOUR. i loved it because i saw alice copper, saw a weird al look-a-like and i was less than 4 feet from al himself. i remember the day the tickets were on sale, my father bought them. i went with my dad and sister. i was so excited because this concert was going to be my 5th one. i've been to 2 at the orange country fair, one at a church in fullerton, one here at the arizona state fair, and then the one here at the dodge theater. when we arrived at the Dodge Theater, there was a line of people like me. all who were crazed al fans as well, and that feeling of having people undeerstand your crazed feelings for weird al music is amazing. it was utter happiness. after a while the line broke into 4 or 6. you could hear people talking about weird al and his brilliant mind. people from all ages were there, it's great to have that. we got in and i ran to the shirts that were on sale. i bought the one of al, bermuda, jim, and steve. I LOVE IT...IT'S THE BEST EVER!! we got to our seats and i started talking to the people next to us. we discussed al and talked as if we know each other for years. that's what is so wonderful, with every single person you have this bond that is crazy. my dad pointed out this guy that he thought was weird al. i freaked out and noticed it was a guy that looked like al. the guy and a female handed out these head brand that have bela on it. i ran down to them and they were so nice to hand out tons to the crowd. i thank them, it's people like them that make things outstanding. doing such a thing as to make these head bands. a man over yander started clapping and so everyone joined in. it was great cause the al look-a-like did this al like expression. a stand-up comedian went on stage. after what seemed like years, al showed up and started singing Angry White Boy Polka. from then on, it was heaven. when the UHF clip was on the screen everyone yelled...."YOU SO STUPID!!!" i felt like i was home, a place where people don't look at me funny for listening to weird al. when weird al started singing, "Wanna B Ur Lovr," that's when i was less than 4 feet from al. he walked up and down the walkways. i was so close i could see the skin texture on his face, his hair was a reddish brown, all fizzy and pulled back in a clip. that was a trill a of life time. after the show i went to wait in the lobby as my dad used the restroom. my sister and i waited, i was speaking of al like crazy. then an elevator opened and i noticed a man get out with some security guards around him. my eyes became super strong and i kinda flipped out. OH MY GOSH IT'S ALICE COOPER....LOOK IT'S ALICE COOPER!!! i pulled my sister and pointed in the direction. she couldn't see him because she is near-sighted. alice cooper looked over in my area, smiled and waved. i told my dad and this lady near by laughed at how i was so happy. then outside this guy was handing out free soda to everyone that wanted one. I WAS SO EXCITED. writing this brings back memories that i'll never forget and that i'll share to people for years to come. i looked on al's website and noticed there is a picture of al and alice cooper together back stage at the phoenix concert. i hope i can go to another and feel at home again.
