Well, if I find mine I'll bring my spare. They should both be in the same place.

That's so sweet! Don't go through too much trouble. What if we don't see eachother?

Not that I will be anywhere near this concert ... but, does Al usually do anything weird (pun intended) for an April Fools Day concert? I heard he mixes up outfits for Halloween.
Anyone know?
And don't forget to post a review / stream of (un?) consciousness rambling about the concert. Well, duh, like you'd forget, right?

Well there was no need to be anxious about not having a light saber, because they wouldn't let us bring them in!!! I showed up about 6pm (yes, spur of the moment decision to go around 2pm yesterday....hey, it was only 3 hours away).. I bought my ticket at the box office at that time, and ended up with front row balcony dead center, right on the railing - what a wicked cool seat!!! The closest floor seat was like row Y.. The venue people manning the locked doors said no cameras, so I took mine back to my car, and got my light saber instead. Stayed outside for a quick chat with Steve before he went in, saw Suzanne go into the venue, and then watched the local radio station setup their "Eat It" contest. Little plates filled with saurkraut, cheese whiz, sardines, limberger cheese, and pickled pigs feet. Contest winners were going to race to eat it all first, for front row tix and backstage passes. I tried to get them to let me join the contest, but no luck.. hehe. All of the participants got a free bottle of PeptoBismol. Went back inside the foyer, and no lightsabers, glowsticks, any kind of "party favors".. oh but yes you can use cameras no flash. Argh! Back to the car to switch, and then all the Gals going to the concert starting showing up. They also wouldn't let us bring in any kind of beverage, and they were checking all bags, purses, and camera bags very carefully. (this is important for later..).. and of course they were selling food & beverages inside.
Most of the other Gals were in 2nd row pit, totally awesome! Only one marked path from the stage far right cause the steps on the left were blocked by equipment.
Great concert!! A lot of energy from Al and the band, and the crowd was really into it!! More later, gotta work double-shift today as payback for a coworker working for me last night..

ok, i just got back, and i had a memorable time, i had to work yesterday from 5a-12:30p, (i worked the day before til1a) i got there about 5p a group of us had dinner, then onto the show at 7p, because of Aprils fools, i was gonna call Jon and tell him i got hit by a semi, but then i thought my tix might of not been there, so i didnt.
Got to the venue and my tix wasnt there, they had to call around to find it, i thought ok, AF on me, so as im waiting this guy asks me if i want to buy his, cause a friend had got him a tix, i said no, then they found my tix, they ask to check my bag, but i get thru without a check, i get to my seat, center sec. row E seat 3, not bad, then they guys show up to sit next to me, and it was Jeff Morris, and the guy who tried to sell me his tix earilier, it was funny.
since we knew each other i ask to switch seats for OMM and WBYL, Al goes down the other side for OMM, i didnt mind cause he came on my side for WBYL, got some nice pix, and when Al saw me, he came right up, and was singing with his face on my lense, although with Al being right on me, the camera wouldnt take the pix, so now i had nose smuge on the lense, not the lense itself, but a cover for it, i mean its a protecter for the lense, then he went 2 rows behind and i got a bunch of butt shots, and when Al came back down, he stopped again and did some more butt moves infront of me. i asked Al later that i was not expecting that, and he said he didnt expect to do that either, i wonder what Al thinks when he's going down the isles, "hey there's fred taking many pix, i think i'll go and stick my face in her camera" all was a good night
