I'm not bored to tears. Have you guys ever been in Star Wars Insider?

Yeah. I think our Garrison has been in about 5 or 6 of them recently. For the Imax Premiere, some book signings, the EP2 lineup last year (our theater is the one those two guys from Seattle Star Wars waited 6 months outside of)....plus I think some of our troopers were also pictured for a Steve Sansweet appearance at FAO.

We're definitely an active squad.

Josheee, thanks for sharing. I wish it had occured to me to talk to you guys while I was there. It must have been amazing to be on stage with our boy. Maybe you can't answer this because of the helmet situation... but how far out into the audience can you see from on stage?

Great story! Did any of your troop hit their head on any low hanging doors on the way to the stage? hahaha... I crack myself up!

That was a great reading. It's fun to about an "inside scoop" to the whole thing, which is absolutely hilarious!

Hehe, no I don't think anyone banged their head on anything this particular time around, though I must admit the stairs going up the back of the stage were a little tough to negotiate for me. Then again, stairs are always tough.

I envy the Biker Scouts....those guys can do cartwheels if they want to.
I'm working on a set of that armor for myself right now. I can't wait for that stuff....

I could see all the way to the tippy-top of the back of the grandstands. The lenses I have in my helmet are just like the lenses in a regular pair of shades.

I could see a few of my friends that were right up close to the stage too. I didn't wave to them (that would be so un-trooper like) but I did notice them.

So the obvious followup question is... That means Al and TBITB can see us all chair dancing and singing with them? Cool!

Well, from experience on stage with lights, only the first section or so- remember, those troops have shaded lenses.

Were you guys in the SWI that Al was interviewed in? I just have that one. My friend subscribes though.

Could be the lenses, although when we went up on the stage in our street clothes before the show to find our "spots"....I could see the same people in the crowd just fine.

However, I decided to get a definitive answer for you, and asked our guy who came out with no helmet (in officer's gear). He says that he could see people in the first few rows very clearly (he noticed some friends of ours)....and after that it was just people. He saw signs too.

Does that help?

As for the Insider....do you remember which issue that was? I can find out for you.
