Al also mentioned NASCAR racing in Couch Potato. I guess it depends on your definition of sports, too. Some people even consider chess to be a sport (it's officially recognized by the International Olympics Commitee as a sport!), but it's true that Al doesn't mention sports of any type a lot. I never really noticed before!
