Ok, I was looking for a picture of a fall Al cookie that I made *still no luck*, and stumbled across my first chocolate Als, before I decided to add sucker sticks. I used a chocolate mold for eggs which did not have a place for a sucker stick, and I hadn't thought of it yet. Anyway, here they are:
The mold I use now is bigger, and does have a place for a sucker stick.
Oh, wow! I'm finding these pics I haven't seen in years! Still no fall cookie, but check out this Bedrock Anthem one:

Those are ADORABLE! And good idea with the chocolate egg mold. And the bedrock anthem cookie is cute! He's rocking that Fred Flintstone style *laughs*
And I can't wait to learn how to make those.
Seriously, I want chocolate and cookies now.

You artist types are amazing. I'm including Patti in this statement because it takes talent to draw on cookies with icing and have it actually look like somebody. I don't have any drawing talent so I had to make something else for Al. I can sew a bit, so I made him this red chili pepper shirt in case he wanted something less Hawaiian and more New Mexican to wear when he sings Albuquerque. I don't know how creative it is, but a friend (Elleanna) handed it to him after the Grand Prairie concert. I hope he likes it enough to wear it sometime.

hehe, thanks! Yes, chocolate Als evolved, and came with sucker sticks, like this one, although, now, they're 27% bigger. *Well, I don't know about that, but they are bigger*
I love that shirt. I believe I saw it on your myspace. Btw, I decorate my cookies exclusively in chocolate, No icing involved. I love working with chocolate, but I will never reveal how I can make curls with it. mwahahahahaha!

Bigger is better. *laughs* You show us how to make those too? *laughs*
Shelley - That shirt is AWESOME. God, I wish I knew how to sew myself! My sister sews a lot, and she won't teach me... *laughs* Her explanation is "I taught myself, YOU teach yourself." *laughs*
I'll bet he'll wear it! It's really good. Love it.

Thanks, Patti & Ghia. As I was telling my daughter today, there is a difference between art and craft. What you ladies do is art, my sewing is craft. Art is more inspired and personal. Craft is more about practical practice. But being motivated to do either one as a gift for somebody, is about love.

Way ahead of you, Ghia:
How to make chocolate Al suckers
That's from the Weird Arts and Crafts topic. Bobbi wanted people to show how they make stuff in there, so I did the step-by-step process of making chocolate Als.
I will most likely post my how-to on cookies in there. I guess that's where it should go.
