They have a 6 - 22 day shipping plan? 22 days?!

Okay I'm mad, I ordered the weird al show off of amazon on the 15th, where it clearly said order this in the next 10 hours and you'll get it tomorrow. Well I ordered an extra DVD of another tv show with the weird al show and I get only the other TV show no weird al show. I checked the tracking information this morning said it was in my state and then it says the date is rescheduled to tomorrow. What's up with that, if it was already in my state this morning and had two more towns till it got to me why is it not going to be here till tomorrow. This is rediculous.

No one in Canada can find it, and you`re worried that your DVD is going to be here tomorrow!

That's probably the fault of UPS. They tend to do that sometimes. I remember when I ordered a Christmas present on December 23rd and payed out the ying-yang for one-day shipping, only to have UPS tell me that the item wasn't going to arrive until after Christmas even though it was only 5 minutes away from my house. Anyway, things could be worse. At least you'll still be able to get the DVD.

Yay! Got mine from Amazon yesterday.

And of course I just gotta say this:
*WOOHOO!* Shoutouts to me and Marty in the commentaries!
(for "Al Plays Hooky" and "Al Gets Robbed", respectively) *does the dance of joy*

Neither of us had any idea that Al was gonna use our names in the Mail Bag segments. It was a very pleasant surprise when they aired.

I also liked how Al mentioned that he went to The Unofficial Weird Al Show Home Page for references. Hooray for teh interweb-net dealies being on compooters now.

luckily my Mom is going to pick it up at the warehouse today. who's names did AL use the ones from this forum, or somewhere else?

yes, thats what I'm taking when I'm ordering something through amazon...it's the expedited international shipping = between 6 and 22 days, they have 2 others, cheapsest takes more than 30 days, the most expensive takes 2 - 4 days, I'm always taking the 6 - 22 option, but it never took more than 10 days so long for the 3 orders so far.......

Al mentions Steve Chai and Marty Lick in the mail bag segments. Their names here are Happy Steve, who just posted above, and Gumby. Happy Steve does the Yankovic! site, and Marty does Al-oholics Anonymous.

I am going into the city tommorrow (I live out on a farm) and me and my friend are going to go to as many Music stores as we can and look for this release. I know HMV carries Shout! Factory releases, so I am definetly checking that place out tomorrow, but it is also quite expensive there. I will see what happens and update the Canadians if I am able to track it down.
