I'm planning to go to the first and last shows of the US 2015 tour this year, which would bring me up to 13 shows total. Wow, that's kind of unlucky. I should probably throw another show in somewhere, just to make it an even 14...

...but that is such a stupid number!

I don't feel that way about the number 14. It's just one thing Al and I disagree about.

I've never seen Al live. However! I'm going to see him twice this summer and I can't wait! Splashed out for some front row tickets and a meet-and-greet as well!

I plan on attending the 8/23 early show in Denver which should bring me up to 4.

I don't think this deserves its own topic, just a sidebar within this one.

I just bought thirteen tickets for the Greek Theater show on 9/19, and it got me to wonder: what is the largest group you've ever attended an Al concert with? This one definitely takes the cake for me by a wide margin (for any concert, not just Al's).

When I attended the SLO show during the Poodle Hat tour, I went with a group of 8. Granted, I was 12 at the time and it was two families that went together.

I think the largest group I have gone with that we all bought tickets together was 6? I have gone to shows where we met up with more people then that--there was a show at Foxwoods one year that feels like we had over a dozen people at dinner, but everyone bought tickets independently and then we met at the venue, so its not quite the same deal.

I've been to shows where we all bought tickets separately but still ended up with an entire row. The last AC show I believe there was 8 of us in a row and another 2 behind us.
