That was weak. I never said the whole album.

Anyway, besides rap music, R&B music is also considered urban. In fact, together they make up a genre called Urban Contemporary. Look it up.

1. Album cover, incl. Al's look, pose. Urban theme.
2. Album title "Straight Outta Lynwood". Urban theme
3. Lead single is a rap song. Urban theme.
4. Two more parodies of R&P artists. Urban theme.

i dont think it has an "urban theme", DDTS isnt very urban at all. while it has urban components, fact of the matter is, Al is gonna put what ever the hell he wants.

Can I ask what this discussion accomplishes?

We've had it way too many times to count and it only serves to piss people off on both sides of the coin.

The cover and the artists being parodied are old news, whether it's Urban or not. There's no going back now.
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

Agreed. It's kind of pointless. But I guess it entertains the moderators who like to see people get "pwned".

I was only speculating about was the possibility of an Rap/R&B polka, not the overall content of the album. Two of the last three polkas had a genre specifc theme (Angry White Boy + Alternative), so the idea of Rap/R&B polka is not that far fetched.

Peace,

Featuring Al's hits "Like a Sturgeon" and Ode to a Super-Hero (Aquaman)! Buy your copy today!

And I do think Al's going for somethin' urban here.

 I give up!

But if Al did ever release a polka medley lumping rap and R&B artists together, he would have one less fan. But thankfully, Al wouldn't do that.
