Yes, I too thought he was good in UHF, and I'm sure most (if not all) people here thought he was as well. But UHF was not a popular movie, nor did it receive any sort of praise from critics or awards. In fact, I seem to remember from Al's 'Behind the Music' that it was a pretty big flop at the box office. Just because everyone here loves it doesn't mean the rest of the world did too.
taste is only something if it is yours.

That's very true, but at least one negative review of the movie did single out Michael's performance as a highlight, so "UHF" did increase his visibility a little.Well @ Well, Well,Nov 25 2006, 06:37 PM wrote: But UHF was not a popular movie, nor did it receive any sort of praise from critics or awards. It's true that it didn't do well at the box office, but that doesn't make Michael's appearance any less impressive. Plus, if he was such good friends with the powers at be at Seinfeld, they may have seen it to support him.Well, Well, Well @ Nov 25 2006, 06:37 PM wrote: Yes, I too thought he was good in UHF, and I'm sure most (if not all) people here thought he was as well.
