Turning to the Grammys, Al sung Tom Petty but I did not see it. Did he sing Refugee or Dirty Laundry?

I don't know what you're referring to, but Dirty Laundry is a Don Henley song, not Tom Petty.

Okay I did a bit of digging. This was for something called the "Wammys" which was invite-only, and it took place at a venue called Dirty Laundry. Al was singing "Refugee" by Tom Petty, clearly a bit of a political statement.
