And money. Don't forget that recording studios are rented by a million dollars an hour (or something like that, I'm not too into the subject to give you an exact figure). Like he said, fixing one note with auto-tune, versus recording it again 20 times until he gets it right? I don't think there's too much to think about there.

Hey, can anyone find a certain Al clip for me? I remember a segment where Al was a guest on one of Jon Stewart's shows (not the Daily Show, long before that) and I think I remember Al sticking a knife into his arm and pouring chocolate all over himself. He was promoting Alapalooza I think...

I looked all over YouTube cause I thought I saw it there, but I just can't seem to find it anymore.

That was a very cool interview. It's so interesting to see interviews from Al's early days, and the very early mention of "UHF" was awesome.
