I always got the feeling that Al wasn't going to do SLN because it was getting too stressful on his back and knees. I know at one point Ruben even broke character to ask Al if he was OK after hearing something go "pop".
Plus, all the guys really HATED wearing that cone bra.

He's gotta do "I'll Sue Ya" live.
Also, I think "Confessions, Pt. III" may be performed in full rather than just as part of the medley. The great thing about a song like this is that Al could constantly add/change verses around so he confesses something new every show!
(Doubt he'll actually do this, but it would be kinda cool.)

On the TWAS DVD, Al made it sound like his extreme contortionist days are over or at least on hiatus, so yeah it's doubtful that a number involving the "foot trick" thing would come back.

They may keep it, but just change the choreography (they also may change it just to make it new and different)Squirrelygirl @ Sep 18 2006, 05:29 PM wrote: I always got the feeling that Al wasn't going to do SLN because it was getting too stressful on his back and knees. If its gone, us young teen female fans everywhere wouldn't get to wear black leos with red pom poms!!!! Ive never been one of the cheerleaders, but one of my friends has. (I was VERY angry/jelous for a month or two after that...)

Aww... I'll be sad to see that stuff go, but I totally understand. Al's health is way more important than appeasing the fangirls. =P
I really can't wait for this tour. See, I've started playing guitar recently, and had an idea... I'm going to get anyone who influenced my musical taste or my view of music or even life itself to sign it. So, Al was the first person I thought of.
He's definitely had a huge influence on my sense of humor, and got me interested in comedy music, which has definitely had it's plus sides. (And? My being a fan of Al's is what got me here, where I got back in touch with my good buddy Jace. And how much would life suck without him?
)

Yeah...that's what I really meant. I didn't have my brain in gear that day.

Freudian slip, methinks?Gadget Girl @ Sep 17 2006, 04:23 PM wrote: Maybe SmileyGirl is being hopeful. Instead of Wanna B Ur Lovr she *meant* Gonna B Ur Lovr...

Yes, I meant "Wanna B Ur Lovr." Sorry if I was annoying people with acronyms...but it seems like if I don't use them, people would wonder what years of being on this forum HAS done for me...

Honestly, for all speculation's sake and such, I am just excited to have heard AL say the tour is definetely happening, and may be starting perhaps a little while "before summer."
Less than 300 days (hopefully)?
I think we can handle that.

Definitely too complex, I'm sorry to tell you. Not that the band couldn't probably play it, but they'd need 4 or 5 more vocalists - and Bermuda and Ruben don't count.Diva @ Sep 18 2006, 04:07 PM wrote: I haven't yet heard Pancreas. From the reviews I have a feeling it's going to become my heaven-sent song, but possibly too complex to perform live.

I wouldn't expect Confessions Part III either, because that has a pretty complex vocal arrangement. And I'd also bet against Virus Alert, Weasel Stomping Day, Trapped in the Drive-Thru and Don't Download This Song (which would be pretty pointless live, anyway - unless it became Don't Bootleg This Song!).
On the other hand, You're Pitiful, White & Nerdy, Canadian Idiot and Polkarama are no-brainers. I'd bet on Do I Creep You Out too - I don't think Al would pass up the chance to do a full-blown Taylor Hicks impression - but it might be too close to You're Pitiful, which I'm sure Al will flog as much as possible for the sake of tormenting Atlantic Records. I'll Sue Ya and Close But No Cigar should be possible, and I'm crossing my fingers for them.

I think that TitDT is possible. Al does have a medley in his setlist, remember.nedseagoon @ Sep 22 2006, 07:43 PM wrote: And I'd also bet against Virus Alert, Weasel Stomping Day, Trapped in the Drive-Thru and Don't Download This Song (which would be pretty pointless live, anyway - unless it became Don't Bootleg This Song!).
