Al sat on ICWT, TPS, TWS, and TG while waiting for the next big thing, which he thought would be Michael Jackson's "Black or White," but which turned out to be a much better parody target - "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

Wasn't Taco Grande recorded in the same sessions, or slightly before "Smells Like Nirvana."

I just checked the Mothership, and yes, you are correct. TG, along with PYEO, SLN, IWOK, and Bite Me were recorded in January 1992. Although, interestingly, Taco Grande is the only one that doesn't have a specific date for the recording.

Album 13 is really great.
Song #2 is probably the best on the album. :)
