Patti, on the source page for the Don't Download This Song site, there is a URL that just happens to be the Amazon page for Ne-Yo's new movie's soundtrack.

Ok, I figured it out. Yay! *Thanks for explaining how to do it, U62*

I really feel newbie-ish sometimes.

Thanks, everyone. That is pretty interesting, I must say.

Don't feel bad, Patti. I didn't understand what they were talking about either. I just took their word for it. :D

And don't feel like people were ignoring you. Posts are going by very quickly today and it's easy for people to entirely miss a post or several.

Thanks, Jeremy. I've had some stuff said to me in person lately that has gotten me down, so I'm a little sensitive. I guess people really weren't ignoring me. I just wanted answers too quickly.

Oh, don't feel bad Patti, no matter how n00bish you feel, I'll always be the most n00bish n00b on this forum! And if anyone questions that they'll be SORRY! :P

Seriously though, you're not a n00b at this stuff. Your myspace is a LOT better than my poor, mutilated, handwritten one. I'm sorry about your feeling invisible.

I haven't looked at the source code, but it sounds like it could just be an innocent mistake to me. Like whoever wrote the code started with a webpage design that was previously written for Ne-Yo's movie, and modified it to fit Al's webpage design, and forgot to change the links.

Besides, it really doesn't make sense. I mean Al mentioned the five artists he's parodying already, and we know there are five parodies only because we know there are twelve songs, and we know there are six originals, and we know there is one polka. 12 - 6 - 1 = 5. Plus, if there are six parodies, why does all the promotional stuff he's doing only mention there will be five artists parodied?

Good detective work, U62! It looks like you found the problem.

But it mentioned a Ne-Yo paropdy as well....

That's probably the problem, yeah. Still, couldn't hurt to leave the song where it is on the tracker just in case

It's amazing.....here we are, we have waaaay more information for this now than we had at the same time for Poodle Hat, and yet this album still takes the prize for most surprising.

We can dispell the Step Up soundtrack link, but the Ne-Yo mention in the source code of the ecard page is unrelated. I think it is possible we'll see something Ne-Yo on the new album, if even just in the polka melody.

Speaking of which, what if Al is planning an all rap/r&b polka to fit with the urban theme?
