I have a Weird Al fever of beatlesesque proportions, and the only prescription is more cowbell. I mean, the only prescription is LISTENING TO THE NEW ALBUM!

I also have a feeling that it will leak very very soon

Last time, the album leaked like a month before the cd came out. I'm pretty sure at this point, I can just wait the 11 more days.

HeHe, I'm kinda in this boat. I probably will listen to leaks, but I want to try and refrain.

So does Al get, like 20 free copies of his album?

He also can buy the CDs from his record label at a discounted price for the purpose of selling at concerts.

Maybe I'm crazy but isn't it possible that the label would have sent him a box of CDs for him to keep. Since it's, you know, his own album and everything?

I bet he gives them out to friends and all, I know a few other artists that get a few copies to give out before it is released.

Hate to admit it, but this was my first thought, too.

(Don't worry, Al...I've already pre-ordered my Deluxe copy! And I won't share with anyone. . .I'm just greedy and impatient.) :-)

19 days, but you're close enough.

Then again Poodle Hat only leaked on like the weekend before it was going to come out.

Yeah, but when Poodle Hat came out, albums leaking onto the internet wasn't as big of a thing as it is today. In SOL's case it was a bit early and I think it took many by surprise. (and Al's words: "I knew it was gonna get out there, but I didn't know it would be like, a month before.")

Most albums tend to leak one or two weeks before the release date. I'd keep my eyes open starting now.
