Re: The Setlist 2011
In the past couple years of touring, what if any changes tend to happen to the show when they take a week off the road?

I bet they'll add the HIMYM clip. Not necessarily the part with Al but the whole bit with Ted calling around to find someone to go with him.

If they still did channel flipping as part of te opening, I could totally see it as the the start of it.

Re: The Setlist 2011
Al might actually play the part where he appears in HIMYM as well. He does the channel flipping transition a lot during the clips, so that might be a way to figure it in somewhere. Anyway, I don't expect any real setlist changes next year. I mean, I originally thought Canadian Idiot was medley bound for this one, but Al's probably saving that change for the next album tour.
Al could also reintroduce concert-only songs, but I doubt he's bringing them back yet. I'm kinda hoping the "drum solo reprise" gag gets switched around or changed up next year. I mean, I got a pretty big kick out of it, but I'd like to see the guys mix it up.

Re: The Setlist 2011
I bet you if anything happens to Canadian Idiot, it will just be scrapped. It'll be there next year though of course, just don't see it going into the medley, however Gump and either Jurassic Park or Bedrock Anthem should be brought back to the medley, it kinda seems short.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

I think Gump was in long enough. Its nice having older songs. And I dont see concert only songs coming back. There are so many songs that he has to play to appease the fans, that adding more songs will be tough

Re: The Setlist 2011
Does anybody know when that solo gag first appeared in an Al show (like which tour), and has it ever not been a part of the show since?

Re: The Setlist 2011
what other concert can you go to where everyone is playing along with wheel of fish and is shouting take the box! that was one of my favorite parts..I'm glad i didn't have to sit through alberquerque or the drive thru song...what a waste of concert minutes...he should bring back ball of twine and i would have liked to have heard some of his old 80s food songs that he never released but i don't think he'll ever do that again.
