I only watched a couple of the video parts on youtube...what part is it from exactly? Or is it just a play on the tone throughout?

She said wait first, just let me explain
I said no need to, just give me his name
And then she said uh...uh
I say uh what
She said please sit down in a chair
And I say no, I'm standin up
And she cries out I'm so scared to tell you because of what ya might do
And I screamed look girl you better give me this man's name and I'm not playin wit you
She says okay, wipes her nose and asks me about a girl named Tina
I thought to myself, said it sound familiar
I said I probably know her if I seen her
Then I say anyway girl, what the hell does that got to do with this man
She said he know my girl Roxanne
I said who the hell is Roxanne
Then she says Roxanne's a friend of mine who know with this guy named Chuck
Chuck's cool wit this guy name Rufus
And I'm sittin here like what the #%*@
Then she says Rufus wife, Kathy
We both went to high school
She introduced me to
The policeman that stopped you
But it's even funnier than that because she is like jealous on behalf of the girl in the drive thru - she's not like saying to Al "who's this chick you might know?" she's asking the girl who Paul is and sounding jealous. funny.Orthography Enthusiast @ Feb 6 2007, 05:14 PM wrote: I think the "now tell me who's this Paul" bit is a poke at the jealousy/infidelity motif that runs through R Kelly's song. I actually find it very amusing the way Al puts the jealousy thing out there, and then dials it down to something absurdly inconsequential.
I found it funny too. Plus the fact that then Al gets into about this guy he knew named Paul. Very funny. A genius song, I still am amazed that he has enough lyrics for almost 11 minutes of music. Was the original that long?Larry @ Feb 7 2007, 06:23 AM wrote: But it's even funnier than that because she is like jealous on behalf of the girl in the drive thru - she's not like saying to Al "who's this chick you might know?" she's asking the girl who Paul is and sounding jealous. funny.
Wow....weirdalfan95 @ Feb 7 2007, 07:20 AM wrote: The original was in 12 parts... I think like 3 minutes averaged? Something around that area... I think all 12 parts added up to 45 minutes... Somewhere around that area.
