Read for the tomorrow! I hope on seeing some of you there, I'll be the young dude with the beard in a white and nerdy sweatshirt and 89 tour button waiting for the bus after the show!

The new LED screen is BRIGHT and COLORFUL! I like the LED strips too. They really add a lot to the overall look of the show. We sat in the balcony so we got the full effect. Upgraded our seats by moving to the center when no one else bothered to show up in our row. But as Mike pointed out, we were technically further away from the stage than our assigned seats. Didn't notice any problems with equipment or sound or music or lyrics. WBUL is a little weird when Al disappears totally for over half the song though. The coffee shop was The Starbucks in The Showboat, and Al was playing "Words with Friends" with Alec Baldwin. Overall a really solid show. The new video clips are really funny too. Didn't hang around to see if Al came out to the buses, because it was a late show and a long drive home. But as we were walking back to our car, we did see Steve Jay out on the street and stopped to say hi to him for a minute or so.

Dave said everything that needs to be said about this show. Very normal show.
And Mike, the pre-show CD 63, is my favorite!!!

Re: 5/11/12 A.C. House of blues
Yeah, so, my history with cameras and the House of Blues:
1. First show included security tossing kids up against the wall for a pat downs. I think there were cavity searches. Adrian and I took cameras back to the car to just avoid the anger.
2. Didn't even try. No one looked. Took photos with cell cam to be smug. They were horrible.
3. Buried camera in purse. Pretended to be a happy soccer mom with Nancy and we got in the line for our "You are so over 21, here's your band to buy beer line." Nonchalantly wandered into venue with no one opening my bag. Score.
Adrian, I am sure if you were there, they would have stripped you.
Anyway, the view was nice, and the angle different. I got some nice pictures from some interesting spots. Here they are:

Enjoy. I'm trying to decide which one to use as my new FB cover page.

All soccer moms are happy after a mojito or two... Great pics, Jackie!
Fred, I did see the cats. That was unexpected and cool.
Great show, really had a lot of fun. Looking forward to Englewood tonight.
