We had a good time. Got there about 330 and there was a huge line for tickets that nobody ended up checking. There was quite a few people ahead of us in the actual line, then Dave, Jackie, Adrian and Ann joined us. sat there for the next two and a half hours, which went by surprisingly fast, when they started to rearrange the line. Al came out and did a bunch of wacky poses with the book for the photographers. Then he took a picture of everyone for Twitter. It was neat to have him do that and have a buzz in my pocket a few seconds later. When I got up to him I finally introduced myself, which I had shockingly never done before. Told him it was our tenth meeting and that all my driving to shows added up to 2700 miles as of today. He signed my books (4!) then we took a picture. I then asked of he would say hi to Robin on a video, which he graciously did. Then he noticed the iPolka phone case I had, so I let him look at it, he thought it was real neat. I said my goodbyes and then ran off. It was a good time

This was amazing. He was so polite. He saw my name on my book and said, "You must be Kate, I've heard so much about you!" And I said yes, I was the one in the audience! I was too scared to look at him. He smiled at me and I stared at the camera.

Adorable picture, Minnick!
And Dave, you might want to be careful - I think that guy with the hair is contemplating strangling you.

Well I was standing by Jay Levey after my book was signed and he wast talking to someone I assumed was from the publisher, because he was saying it was a good idea they have the photographer there, and it should be added to his book tour rider, so Im guessing it was just the rules B&N puts out for every author until they find out different when they get there. Its what we did when I worked at Walden Books

It might be useful to add a designated photographer to some venues on the concert tour as well. But yeah, as stated, you could do a posed photo as long as you handed your camera off to the designated photo taking guy.

Ha! I figured he was trying to strangle himself to get out of signing another 1000 autographs!
