Great review, Bobbi! You've certainly beat my 7/29 review as well as all of Jeremy's reviews from this tour in sheer length and wordiness. Even having to sift through most of your biased fanGIRL "drooling over Al" moments, it was a great read nonetheless. I enjoyed the setlist myself and personally thought he picked all the right songs to placate the hardcore and casual fans alike. However, some of us who have at least read about how the SOL tour went down were a little disappointed with the choices of songs in this tour's parody medley seeing as it was almost identical to the SOL medley only with three or four songs switched around. Still, even knowing the setlist, I couldn't be disappointed in anything seeing as this was the very first tour I actually saw Al live at in concert.

wow..a review of a review...and one that's actually longer than the original review...possibly every concert review ever posted on this board...good job, MT...haven't seen that one before...

Well...speak for yourself, there's no way that beats my reviews. And that review of a review was very repetitive. Anyway....

Glad that you enjoyed the concert Bobbi...kinda dismayed at some of the criticisms, as I think this tour is as flawless as you can get...especially with Al's work on Internet Leaks..which so far, looks to be the strongest "new" album (after Bad Hair Day) that Al has produced. With such a small theatre, too, and being in the balcony..you're bound to have some blocked views.

Glad you got to meet Steve...he's such a nice guy...

Have we met? Of course it's wordy!

Ahem. Well, I was trying to be good. You should be glad. In recent years I've tried to cut down on the drooling. But seeing him live... well...

It was inspired. I thought about reviewing it, but decided against it. One can take parody too far.

Usually I'm accused of never having any complaints and liking everything Al does just because Al does it. Like that's a bad thing... I guess you can't please everyone.

CRITICISMS?!?!?!? Mine?!?! First of all, I too consider this tour "flawless" compared to what I've heard about the SOL tour. Secondly, I wasn't really speaking for myself there. I just heard a few frequent Al concert goers saying that they were disappointed in Al bringing back the encore from the PH/TWS tours (as well as some most of the previous tours medley and the same three songs that came after it) after hearing about "big changes" to the setlist back in 08 when the previous tour ended. However, there were certainly enough changes to the pre-medley portion of the set-list to offset those...hell, even bringing back MFN/BH does the trick there, IMO...but I myself apparently have very little room to complain let alone "criticize" seeing as this was actually the first tour where I actually saw Al preform live.

Also, I would consider both RWS, PH and even SOL stronger albums then BHD (at least in terms of Al's originals), but to each their own, I guess...
