Virus Alert - yeah that might be what I'm hearing in there.

It also slightly resembles Barenaked Ladies. Al hasn't done them in a style parody yet, despite being a fan and friends with the band. But that's probably not what this is.

Wait - didn't someone say that Jon said we had already guessed at the style? So what has been guessed that also sounds like that clip?

it kind of reminds me of early ABBA. i can't put my finger on any particular song, though.

It's interesting that you mention Virus Alert, because it actually sounds kinda like '80s-era Sparks, whereas Virus Alert was a style parody of '70s-era Sparks.
