I'm not sure if i'm supposed to post this here, or in another topic, but the Toledo Blade (our newspaper) had this REALLY NICE article about Al coming to Toledo.

Just a reminder that I'll be there before the show taping fan interviews for the Rock Hall campaign. I'll be arriving around five and will be in the zoo's parking lot near the main entrance, so if any regulars here want to show up early to get their on-camera time out of the way, plan accordingly.

And if anyone does participate, we'll also be giving away prizes for costumes and Al-related get-ups about one hour before showtime. Details are on the campaign web site.

See ya there!

Just FYI, I called the zoo, and they said if you want to walk around the zoo before the show, you have to pay the $10 admission price. Otherwise, you can go in after the zoo closes at 6 p.m., and you won't have to pay the admission price. Also, they said cameras are generally not allowed, but I'll test that theory.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I have one maybe two front row tickets for this show. They were from the VIP through artist arena. I'm looking to get face value for them $49.50 a piece, If you are interested, PM me (sorry the VIP merchandise doesn't come with the ticket!)

the Seats are Section C
Row A seat 5 & 6

If you can't take both thats fine, and I do have a way of getting the ticket to you. We'll work out arrangements when you PM me..

Thanks..sorry for the short notice :(

Also, to add to my previous post, if you're in the zoo before closing time, they will kick you out and you'll have to wait until they let people in for the concert.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Hey guys, I just got back from the concert and it was just one notch under AMAZING!! :D
I don't use this word often, but the concert might have been EPIC! It was (I think) the greatest version of Albuquerque i've ever heard. Not only did Al kind of mess up on the lyrics, (the one nostriled hermaphrodite also only had one arm... :P ) but during the donuts part, he listed off at least eight donuts that weren't included in the original, including Blueberry donut, Cranberry donut, and my personal favorite, The HalleBerry donut.

In a word, incredible. GREAT SHOW AL!!

Glad you had a good time, Abbott! He's been making Albuquerque longer during this tour. I think it's because he doesn't want to leave so soon. LOL! I love the addition of the Halle Berry donut, too.

I take it you didn't stay after to try and meet him?
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!
