I'm trying to think of super awesome North American food to check out... Well of course Maple Syrup but you wouldn't be able to bring any home cause It could be a bomb. But If you want some seriously awesome stuff I could ship a can down for your stay (I think- I'd have to check the export laws but I think so)
Hehe. Ty sweetie, but we have been getting Maple syrup in the UK since about 1984.. before that though, we used to get my aunt to send it to us in a big parcel at Christmas!

I had my very first Krispy Kreme donut on Saturday as the franchise has just arrived in Southampton, along with Baskin Robbins, so the main thing about American food I am looking forward to are the sweet things.

Hmm okay I've never had Krispy Kremes Only Tim Hortons... One thing I must say about the states is that there's a Mc Donalds every 5 blocks, at least in new jersey... WOW
Still trying to think.. Well of course bacon but you don't eat pork umm I'm stumped but I must say Tim Hortons is something special but its Canadian Only and Dunkin' Doughnuts tastes like cardboard.

Did I ever tell you what my husband found in his scrapple once? Let's just say that Louise doesn't need to worry about being offered scrapple in my house! But I do know where to get her a good cheesesteak and a great soft pretzel. Now don't tell me you've had soft pretzels before, they are better in Philly!

So, I might be going to the special contest day for this show. (July 11th, 6-8 pm.) Anyone else?

Hey, I know there is no promise of a meet and greet EVER, I also checked the "mothership" to see if Al has played Scranton before and did not see any listings .... soooo, does anyone know what the Scranton venue is like, as far as where the buses may be parked. I get the impression that it is something like street parking, like it was at the Beacon in NY. Does anyone have a clue??

Thanks,

Flo-cat :cat:
