So I am almost definitely going to be at this show. I will probably be buying my ticket sometime within the next few days...I'm debating on whether or not to get the VIP Tickets. It would be so darn awesome...but it costs so much! >.<

Can you give a recommendation on a hotel ? Something that won't take forever to get back and forth the venue would be lovely.

Thanks in advance.. I can't wait to see all of you again.

You could call the LC Pavillion and ask for some recommendations, tell them what your price range is, how close you want to be, etc. I'm going to check when I go up to Columbus for a sci-fi con the first weekend in May; the hotel I'm staying in then is nice but pricey plus I don't know how close it is to the venue.

Sorry for the double post but I called Promo West/LC Pavilion today and have some info that those going might find useful:

Camera policy: small digital and disposable cameras are allowed but the final decision on whether or not cameras are permitted are made by the artists. Since we know Al has no problem with pictures being taken at his shows, that's not going to be an issue!

Hotels: they recommend two nearby--The Doubletree Hotel (614)228-4600 and The Holiday Inn on Lane St. (614)294-4848. I didn't ask about the exact distance but I would think they'd be pretty close. I also didn't ask about rates but both of these hotel chains are pretty reasonable pricewise.

Just curious, have they ever done the VIP thing before, I didn't get it but it looks pricey for what you get?

Mom and I will be at this show.

I can't remember our seat numbers but I know we're Section B Row B toward the end of the row.

I'm looking forward to this!

No, last year Artist Arena was only offering regular presale tickets; no "special" packages.

I forgot to mention in my previous post but if you call either of the two hotels recommended by the LC Pavilion, you can get a discount if you tell them you're coming for a show at the venue.
