What a great show..

especially when .. he forgets the next line in I'll Sue Ya, and stops and says, "There really is no need to finish this song... " and breaks into Radio Radio

LOL

So no Yankobucks at this particular show. I did give the 4 boys sitting next to me 1 each since I had enough from previous shows... They were cool and very greatful.

:w Hi Marissa! Very nice meeting you and seeing Tony again. You guys were a blast to sit next to :D

  My aftershow pics

Oh, and I would just like to take this moment to say...

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

To see the four shots in a row is really really funny. It starts with the two next to each other. Then HS has his arm around Al's shoulders. And THEN... and

Well I've finally recovered enough to write a bit about the concert. Since I am not a long distance driver by any means (Logged in over 600 miles between Saturday and Sunday) I was a bit comatose on Monday!

As some of you may or may not know - My DH (dgw671 - his user name on here) and I are friends with Jim however this time since DH is out of the country, I brought a long my best friend to be my wingman on this journey. (Can we say Thelma and Louise?) This was her first Al concert and she loved every moment. I must admit that it was great to be with someone who has never been to a concert before. I don't think I've laughed quite that hard during a show since she had no idea what to expect (I didn't tell her too much about the concert before hand). Her reactions were great and she was thrilled when they did Radio Radio, one of her favorite songs. She had a great time!

When we arrived at the venue Jim met us and gave us the royal treatment! We got to hang out with him for quite awhile before and after the show. DH found a bottle of wine called "Running with Scissors" that we gave to Al and the guys. I have no idea what the wine tastes like but hopefully they will enjoy it!

Unfortunately - I left my camera in the trunk of my car. Great place for it! So I don't have one stinking picture! UGH! I'm still kicking myself over that one. X*

On a weird side note - My friend and I were standing in the parking lot after the show waiting for Jim when this car drove up to us asking about a "Weird Al Yonkavickacheizzy" concert. Whoa now! Call the Law! He even asked us where the busses were parked. We denied knowing where the guys were because if you can't get Al's name right - you're not a fan. I think the campus security nabbed him and shooed him away. Freak

This was my last concert for this tour and as I was driving home to Louisville ticking away mile after mile after mile after mile...I had to smile to myself...it was all worth it!

PS: For those of you who were there - I was the one wearing the headband with the devils horns if you saw me... >:) I got quite a few compliments on them! Hee Hee!

Yah know, I did see you. Didn't think anything of it, but I did hear someone say to you that you were the most enthusiastic at the show and that the crowd was incrediably dead. (which I disagree, the front row ..where I was... was pretty enthusiastic) Of course I couldn't see behind me either. So.. for the rest of the crowd, I wouldn't know.

But I do remember seeing you!

You should have told him that the Yonkavickacheizzy concert was in University Park, MARYLAND. Because if you can't get the name right... >:)
