Haha, yeah, Al did in fact do a meet and greet... Only thing was... Ya know, he was in the theatre while the rest of us were outside, getting soaked as the rain got worse. Oh well. It was definitely worth it to stay in the rain and wait till Al came out!
Thats awesome that he still did a meet n greet. I know he didn't finish with the Backstage peeps until 10:30 - 10: 45 or so, so thats cool

I'm sure the rain felt good.
I'm glad you got to talk to him

I got a little wet on the way back to my car after the aftershow festivities. Then I had to stop at a BK to get something to drink since I was parched. I thought my car was gonna get swallowed up by the flooding streets
Anyhow...
I"m here at work, so I guess I could tell ya about my adventures..
I left my house early. like 3 p.m. it took me 2 1/2 hours to get to Waukegan, thanks to traffic through Chicago. *sigh* I knew I should have taken 294..atleast I would have avoided all the congestion on the Dan Ryan and through Chicago. I'm really glad I left when I did though, got me to the theater in perfect time. Enough time to get set up for the Rock Hall Petition.
Which after I asked, they did have a table for us. Be it a very small round table, but a table none the less.. when they started getting busier, they split alexis and I.. I was moved to a lounge on the south side of the building, and I believe Alexis was sent to the North Lounge? All I know is that we were split up to control the flow of traffic coming into the theater.
The theater itself was very nice.. and I actually got a Marquee picture. I think the first one this tour for me so far. I've forgotten the other times we were at a theater. but Oh well. lol
Everyone that I came across who worked for the place seemed extremely nice. It was funny, because I had a name badge on, people either thought I worked for Al

or I worked for the Theater. On both instances, I had to correct them. lol
My seat was in the 2nd row Orch Pit. Distance close enough to not only get spit on, but get drenched in nirvana water and touch the stage. I honestly didn't think the water would reach us that far over.. but Al intentionally threw it that far over. lol I forgot to thank him for that. I've never gotten that wet from the water.. and this time I didn't protect my camera

it was fine though.
Again, a few more hip wiggles *chuckles* and some more donuts.. Uh. They're slipping my mind what they were now. bummer. It was pretty funny though I remember. Pretty disgusting if I'm remembering correctly. Oh yes, now I remember, He did the 2nd Jelly donut thing, and said, I Already told you, We're out of Jelly donuts!! LOL yeah.
Overall it was a GREAT show! Sad it's over until the Sept 23rd for me, which that week will be crazy fun!
Backstage I got to talk to Jon and Steve, and Talked with Ruben for a split second. I got to hear Al sneeze. lol It was pretty loud too.. Got a nice big Al hug/squeeze when he saw me, "Hey Its nice to see you again!!" and he sighed when he hugged me, he gave a little noise.. *sigh*
The storm troopers were here again too, and so I got to see them all with their helmets off... and just as I suspected, the short one on stage was infact a girl
Anyhow, Great show, Great Fun.. and Lots of Rock Hall Signatures! Wheeeeee!
Until then.
