Hey Just got home. We didn't win the contest, but we waited politely and they gave us a meet n' greet anyways. I'll post more info tomorrow, I saw Alinite27 and Rebekah So Hi to you guys. We also got some I'll Sue Ya money, and an autographed poster thingy from Weird Al. The Petition got quite a few sigs but I'm not counting them tonight, will do tomorrow. No sign of Elvis at all, though Alinite saw him. Still ecstatic I met Al.

The crowd was good, though maybe a little more subdued than some other shows I've seen. It could be because Wildwood is a summer vacation spot, so possibly there were lots of casual fans who happened to go to the show because it coincided with their vacation plans anyway. Though the guy and his son sitting behind me said they came from Long Island (NY), just to see the Al concert, so who knows.
I haven't been to Wildwood since 1997, and... nothing's changed. Ha! Well, except the new convention center which was a big improvement over that high school gym thing I went to 10 years ago.
Al looked and sounded fine to me. The streamers and money went off from the middle of the venue, rather than the front. I guess they had to set up the lighting rig hanging further back over the audience for whatever reason. He misjudged the steps on WBUL. He stepped where there wasn't a step and nearly fell into the front row. Though he didn't appear hurt, and I don't even think he missed any lyrics either. I enjoyed starting "Albuquerque" all over again. I chose not to hang around for long after the show because the buses were tucked in the back, not easy to get to, and I had a long ride anyway, and, you know, I go to a billion shows.
Great to see you again Jeremy. Have fun at your 25th, 26th, 27th, 27th, 27th, and any other 27th shows you go to.
Sorry I missed you again jbracciante. I did see a guitar hero shirt, I just didn't know I was supposed to be looking for it. Congratulations on meeting Al.
And congratulations on winning front row and passes, Rebekah.

I did see the radio station van, though I didn't know there was a contest.
Some pictures to prove I was there:

I won...the contest. I won. I am female, but, it...I did have my hawaiian shirt, and horn-rimmed glasses (stolen from sis) and uhm, I did curl my hair. Anyway.
Front row tickets are awesome. It was...insanely loud, but it was absolutley wicked cool. And, during the song, "Wanna B Ur Lvr", and he came off the stage, he was singing at me, and hehehheeheheh, excuse me while I giggle inanely.
Excellent

Were you still dressed as Al during the show? I'd love to see a pic of WBUL-Al hitting on his classic-Al doppleganger .

I did a search & couldn't find any eye-witness info... did Al do anything to the New Jersey line in "I'll Sue Ya" for the NJ venues? If so, what? If not, was there any out of the ordinary reaction?

He did the song both at the HOB and in Wildwood...I only saw any reaction at the HOB. About half seemed to boo him, the other half cheered...I heard no reaction at the Wildwood concert, if only...everything was so loud, I could only hear the singing, and not the audience.
I know there was a professional photographer there, cause, I knew him, and he got some pictures, not sure about the WBUL song, didn't ask him that...I do know the group next to my sis was taking pictures, and the group one over to the left had a camera tooo, so they might have pictures. Sadly...I have no clue who they were. The lady next to me was awesome though! She was really nice.

I don't think he's gonna change the line. It's all in fun. Apparently, at one show, he did say "I'm sorry, Dave" after saying the line. (Dave Rossi was in the audience).
