Hey, I have a question regarding this show.

My brother and my two cousins have tickets to go to the show and they are eagerly looking forward to attending. The problem, however, is that my brother has a very important work meeting he must attend which lets out at 8. He lives about 20 minutes from the venue, but according to Keswick apparently the show starts at 7:30 despite what it says on his ticket.

Does anyone know if there is an opening act for this show? What time would you expect Fun Zone to start playing (based on tour averages)?

Thanks,
-Jon

Well, I'm less surprised. A lot of people don't like going to concerts by themselves.

But do you realize that this means that Al sold out the Keswick theater twice on the same tour in the same year? Go Al! :Y

About 5-15 minutes after the posted show time, so in this case, about 7:35. They were pretty punctual last time. There are no opening acts this tour. Al made a comment recently that they're not using them. (However, Throwing Toasters opened in Konocti.) Essentially they traded the opening act for a longer show. But it also means the show starts on time, whereas previous tours, you usually had a 40 minute cushion.

Why do people not like going to concerts by themselves? I've already went to 24 shows on this tour by myself, and see nothing wrong with it. I would have taken the ticket, because I'm sure I looked at it on eBay..I know I looked at one a couple times on there, but for other reasons decided to skip on this show. Would have been a great seat, though, and I hope your friend has a great time!

As for theatre starting time, it is usually right on the dot. If not, just a few minutes after. The only time there are any delays are at outside shows where they are either waiting for it to get darker so the video is visible or for the video servers to get happy. Although, at an 8:20 earliest, they might be able to get in at Saga Begins/Yoda or I'll Sue Ya, if there were any delay. However, the venue may have a late arriving policy.

I wish I could make it to this show because it seems that Al has some good fans around that area to sell it out twice.

::checks watch::

2 hours and 5 minutes and I am leaving work and en route to Glenside!!!

I have no idea what I'll be wearing...right now its looking like "What I wore to work" which would be a purple shirt with a hamster embroidered on it.
