BUMP!!!!

I just realized....This show is next week - where's all the jabber! I really need to get pumped up! Being up in the nose-bleed section is causing me to relax since I know I will not catch Al Bucks....streamers....the cup.....any water droplets from Al, or spit (not that I want THAT!) And again... he will not sing to me on WBUL!

However, I suppose will have a great view of the big Donny head!

I will also get to see the whole show, and not just what is in the viewfinder of my camera!

:D

I would love to meet up with everybody!

I wonder if there is some place and time that we could all meet on this potentially hot and sticky but glorious day!

I've never been to the Ohio State fair before, so I have no idea what to expect, (I hardly ever go to the Cuyahoga County Fair and I live about 2 miles from it), but if someone is more familiar, maybe you could offer a suggestion!

I have been a fan of Al's for about twelve years but I have never gotten a chance to see him live, which is why I am so excited about this show. But it worries me a bit because if you look at the prices of the tickets to all of the other shows on this tour they are all 30-60 bucks a pop, I only paid 20 for mine, and that is the standard price for all seating there at the fair.

I'm just wondering if you think Al will scale down this show due to the lower prices or if he'll give us the same show that he'd give a crowd that were paying 50 bucks a pop to see him... what do you think? Am I just being paranoid here? Please tell me that I am...

Also, does anybody know a specific place that we can be where we'd have a better chance in meeting Al? Or is he illusive and dosen't like to be bothered before shows?

Call me a newb if you wish, all I know is that I'm super excited about this show and I want to make the most of it.

We have decided as a family we won't be doing teh fair. With the weather forecast (hot and muggy) my hubby can't satnd the heat and especially the humidity with his lung problems and sweat factor. Maybe afterwards we can all meet by the stage or something and try to find the bus. I'll be in my Al Team shirt pictured in my avvie

Well, and sorry to invade this concert topic, my tickets for the OC Fair were only $20, and Al did the whole show. Al's not in charge of pricing, the arena is, and they give him a fraction of the money. Have no worries of a shorter concert, unless specified on weirdal.com, it should be the full length.

Same here. When I saw him in may, my seat ticket was only $20, and that was for the "preferred" seating... most of the seats were free with park admission, and we got the full show. so, you have nothing to worry about. If he scales the show down any, it'll be because the venue asked him, not because of the ticket cost.
