Another sighting: In Mad's "Making Baseball Card Collections Complete", all the way back in #296 (But reprinted in Mad's Bathroom Companion 3 for you whippersnappers), there's a card of greedy owner Richard Milhous Spinegrabber XIII, who owns a team called.....The Yankovichs (Yeah....but we can forgive them for their mistake)

Also in that very Bathroom Companion, the very first article they reprint is called "New Twists on Old Jokes". Since they're friends of the family, it's noteworthy that both Emo Phillips and Judy Tenuta are illustrated in the crowd.

In the latest issue of Mad #462, there's an article American Idol Also Rans Where are they Now? Al is mentioned.

My favorite Al mention would have to be when he did the MAD Magazine 2 Question Interview, this is the entire thing....

MAD- Hello Al, first question, is this your first 2 Question Interview?
AL- Yep
MAD- Ok, just for us, can you repeat your answer to question #1?
