Perhaps he had them removed on a doctor's reccommendation. Sometimes if a mole is looking kinda funny, the doctor will ordered it removed, right?scottidog @ Dec 12 2004, 02:42 AM wrote: I'm a bit surprised, perfectionist that he is, that he chose that time to have them removed. I can't believe he didn't even think about the continuity problems it would cause.![]()

Or, and this is just a wild guess, Al thought of it as more of an unnecessary procedure and just wanted to wait until he had some extra money come in before he went to get it done. It would probably fall under how Al described the differences between living like a "movie star" as opposed to a recording artist.Orthography Enthusiast @ Dec 12 2004, 02:40 AM wrote: I just love the idea that Al had been performing and appearing in videos for several YEARS before the idea of getting his moles removed took hold. That's our boy-- more than a little bit lacking in the celebrity-narcissism department.

I Was Watching An Old SNL Rerun And During Weekend Update Kevin Nealon Said This:
Earlier this week, the FBI released this sketch of the Unabomber. Shortly afterward, a warrant was issued for the arrest of "Weird Al" Yankovic.
I Laughed.

Could that be a reference to the time that they were showing Al's picture on TV because some criminal looked like him?polkamyeyesout @ Dec 20 2004, 07:51 PM wrote: Earlier this week, the FBI released this sketch of the Unabomber.
