QUOTE So has anyone asked Al to sign a package of notebook paper yet?

Hmm, come to think of it.... At Poughkeepsie, Dave got Al to sign a piece of notebook paper. He got it signed by the rest of the band too. Guess that's not really the same though....

TMBJon!, they are talking about how Al keeps getting notebook paper in the home movies off the Poodle Hat cd. I think it would be funny to ask him to sign a big pack of it. I don't think I'd give any to him, though. Too bulky. hehe!

I asked Al to sign my canvas hardware store tool belt after the Hampton Beach concert.

There is a twist to this story:

Al was finding it difficult to sign the canvas fabric. I could see the image was much lighter than usual.

Al's Sharpie marker was becoming dull after the loooong line of fans!

.....and I just happened to have a spankin' new Sharpie in my pocket. :)

Soooooo I held it out to Al and said- "Here, you can have my new Sharpie!"

Al reached for it saying, "Thanks!"

He quickly added, "And you can have my old one!"

So-I am now the proud owner of one used fine point black WAY Sharpie permanent marker!

Unfortunately, I seem to be unable to link my pic of this treasure here. If you care to view it can be seen in my photo album (Alison's PHT pics) over at the new Yahoo weirdalstupidgroupIII.
