Team Groovy clearly did not deserve the win. The challenge was about what Al would do, and Al would not do a song about Donald Trump, nor would he even touch Uptown Funk unless he had the best idea ever for it. It was only surprising because it was what Al would never do. Also, how could you not know Thinking Out Loud? It was and still is everywhere.

it wasn't even that political. I mean Trump, as a real-life character, isn't even that political for someone running for president. he is a joke. he is the perfect balance of political and apolitical while also being topical and wide-ranging.

I'm so upset. Donald Trump was a dumbass parody target. You could have done much better. It is an insult to everyone involved that Team Groovy's song won.
