This guy is a first-rate a-hole. What a tool.
I bet he is just jealous of the greatness that is Weird Al Yankovic. Al won Grammys and his album made number one. So what has that jerk done with his life? Besides write a terrible article.

I hate deliberately contrarian hipster pablum like that. He ends with the First World Problems thing ("how can people be starving but others spend money on Weird Al concerts?"), but the fact is why did he just spend all his time writing about how much he hates Weird Al when there are real things in life to be THIS upset about? The answer is, he may not like Weird Al, but I doubt he hates him to the point that he wants to physically hurt people who do. . .he's just trying to get a rise out of the "majority", which he admits he thinks is always wrong in his bio blurb. His schtick is clearly to say something the majority will disagree with so they click on his article. It worked, I suppose, but I'm kind of sorry I bothered actually reading it after clicking over. He rails about how unfunny Al is, but then in every paragraph has a line that says everyone who likes Al should be "stabbed in the mouth" or "thrown down the stairs in front of their loved ones", or something like that, which are (non)joke constructions that are older than the First World Problem meme he was whining about.
Yeah, the guy who posted this in response to that click-baiting blog post pretty much wins:

Wow, I'm not sure what to say other than this guy must really hate his life to spew such vile comments and wish harm on anyone who likes Al.
I'm married to a non-Al fan, but he has never said such awful things. This guy needs an exorcist, or at least a boot to the head.

At the end of the day, Al has done what he does successfully for over 30 years and his most recent album hit #1 on the Billboard charts. Meanwhile, Wayne Wax is....Wayne Wax.
PS: I don't know if this is the same guy, but there is a Wayne Wax "Fan Group" on Facebook. I found the member list amusing:

I get irritated about youtube commenters calling Al "racist" because of WaN.
Also, the people who *still* insist that he wrote things like "Star Wars Cantina" even after I direct them to his discography. "Oh, he doesn't take credit for it because it's vulgar and he doesn't want to destroy his family friendly image".

Those haters are out to hurt Al's reputation because they are jealous.

About two lines into that "article" i suspected it was written by a frustrated wannabe comedian. read a little further and quelle suprise! i was right.
If he really is as bitter and negative as his writing makes him seem, no wonder he hasn't been successful thus far!
the writing style is legit awful as well. Willing to bet this guy was writing this while sitting at his laptop frantically paging through a thesaurus.

Never figured out the "logic" behind such an argument. Closest I can find to such an argument (theirs, not mine) is that it's somehow stereotypical of black people because of his desire to "roll with the gangsters" (a ridiculous argument, since not all gangsters are black, and even if they were, nothing in the lyrics says anything derogatory about them).
But another "theory" people accusing Al of racism because of this song, is that it's somehow racist against
white people! Seriously. The argument somehow suggests that because he calls himself "white and nerdy" he's suggesting all white people are nerdy (at least compared to black people). Yes, there are people essentially accusing Al of racism against his own race. The song is certainly self-deprecating to a degree, but saying that's on the basis of race is ludicrous; he's not claiming he's nerdy
because he is white.
Don't bother arguing with such people on the basis of logic; if they were capable of being swayed by logic they wouldn't be calling Al racist in the first place.

I think the basis of any argument for White & Nerdy being racist is that, by identifying the narrator as "so white," Al is implying there are degrees of whiteness. In other words, he's subscribing to the notion that white people act a certain way while black people act another way, and that all of the nerdy things described in the song are "white" characteristics. This is stereotyping, which is of course a form of racism.
Not saying I agree with that, but there is some logic to the argument. It would be like saying someone "throws like a girl," which is definitely a sexist comment.
